The thing that stood out the most to me in Schindler's list was the carelessness of the Nazi Officer's brutality. An example of this was Amon Goeth's casual attitude as he killed innocent humans in the morning. It was even worse that he didn't even stop to think after, he just proceeded with his morning rituals.

I agree with you, it wasn't like it was a conscious decision for Amon Goeth it was almost as if it were a part of his morning ritual. He didn't just happen to see workers that weren't doing their jobs, he was looking for any excuse to kill some of the workers, any reason he could shoot them without it just being him firing randomly into the labor camp below.
